Saint Michael’s Mission….how we serve you

“Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.” 1 Corinthians 10:24

Saint Michael’s Mission was established to provide all First Responders with the ability to reach out and dialog with a Chaplain, regardless of agency or geographic location. Many agencies do not have a Chaplain on staff, and quite honestly, other agencies do not recognize the value of having an in-house Chaplaincy.

In addition, there is that unspoken Blue and Red Wall of Silence that pervades our professions. There are times when it is easier to talk to someone out-of-agency, and we offer that. There are times when Conflict Management is needed within an agency, and that too is sometimes better performed by an outside source such as Saint Michael’s Mission.

We are Ordained and Licensed Pastors who are also Trained, Vetted, and Certified as Chaplains. Any Chaplain that volunteers with Saint Michael’s Mission must be certified in the many different areas of crisis intervention and support: Peer-to Peer Crisis Intervention, Psychological First Aid, Crisis Care in Traumatic Grief, Crisis Care in Diversity, Strategic Planning and Implementation (Crisis Care in a Mass Casualty Event), and many more.

We are professionals who have a passion to serve those who serve…..

Saint Michael’s Mission came about in a realization that too many of us were “falling between the cracks” when processing or recovering from traumatic incidents. With many of us, it is not just the one major incident, it is the hundreds and hundreds of “snapshots” that we experience throughout our career that can altar our lives without us understanding why.

We at Saint Michael’s Mission offer a few services to those in need.....please take a look at “What We Offer” and “Projects”.
