What We Offer….How We Can Help

  • Peer-to-Peer Crisis Intervention

    • Our most requested service is Peer-to-Peer Crisis Intervention. This is accomplished at your convenience….in person, electronically via phone, FaceTime, or Skype. Our mission is to be able to serve you when you are in need.

  • Critical Incident Stress Debriefing

    • If you’ve been through a crisis, you may feel anxious, angry, scared, or guilty. And you might have trouble with sleep or focus, or become physically ill. A critical incident stress debriefing (CISD) can help you get better.

    • These sessions provide a chance to talk about the trauma with others who were involved. Although optimally held within 12 to 24 hours of the incident in question, a CISD usually takes place within 24 to 72 hours after the event. The CISD is open to all personnel and first responders who were involved in any way with the incident. This definitely includes our 911 and Dispatch personnel!

  • Critical Incident Stress management

    • CISM reflects the more global objectives of CISD. The CISD process was greatly expanded and has grown to cover a longer period of support and intervention to include prevention of disorders that might develop as a result of traumatic stress, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

    • It also came to serve as a tool to help identify personnel who should be referred for further treatment; to facilitate verbalization of experiences; to normalize reactions to stressful events; and to improve peer group support and cohesion.

  • psychological first aid

    • Psychological First Aid is an approach for assisting people in the immediate aftermath of critical incidents, disasters and terrorism. It is designed to reduce initial distress, and to foster short and long-term adaptive functioning.

  • strategic planning and implementation

    • Strategic Planning and Implementation is a roadmap that provides direction for crisis response teams to achieve established goals by meeting the challenges they will face.

    • It is extremely necessary for the development and strengthening of the thought processes used in responding to critical incidents, disasters, and terrorism events.

  • conflict resolution in the workplace

    • Most workplace conflicts grow from small seeds. By the time the conflict is noticeable, it has grown exponentially and threatens moral, effectiveness, careers, relationships, and most importantly: OFFICER SAFETY!
